Fulbright Scholarship Awards

1. Associate professor Nikos Konofaos received a 2013 Fulbright Research Fellow Scholarship. The scholarship concerns a visit at the University of Maryland, College Park, for conducting research on novel nanoelectronic devices.

2. The student of the Department of Informatics, Mr Miltiadis Nedelkos received a Fulbright scholarship for the 2013 Summer Institute on Social Entrepreneurship. Mr Nedelkos was chosen among other candidates from all over Greece after a hard competition. He will spend 5 weeks in Indiana, attending summer classes. He is the first Greek scholar for this particular award and it is notable that he is still a second year undergraduate.
